Infinique Fiber Distribution Hub with Splitters is a compact high density enclosure supporting up to 96 cores termination and providing overall greater protection for fiber optic connections from pull and impact. The enclosure is made of a tough chemical resistant engineering material which effectively prevents it from ageing caused by heat, cold, oxygen and UV radiation. It?s strong and rugged housing stands up to harsh weather conditions and is water proof, fire resistant and also quake proof.
To accommodate 96 cores termination, the enclosure has splice trays. Each tray can support one 2x32 PLC splitter termination capable of splicing fiber cores from either multi-core cables or drop cables. A high quality elastic silicon gasket seal, shrinks and dilates to ensure long-term sealing performance of the enclosure when it is closed and makes it reusable for easy re-entry. Gaskets are provided for entry of both feeder cable and drop cable and they offer excellent tightness reliability.Transition Tube Kit is included which protects the routed fiber cable. This fully mechanical enclosure can be used indoors or outdoors, and can be mounted on wall, hand hole mount, duct mount or aerial applications.
Like other FOA programs, the OJT-To-Cert program is free. The FOA provides directions for use of the free Fiber U online training programs and we provide a log for the trainee to keep track of their progress. The only cost is the two fiber U certificates of completion and the FOA certification exam at the end of the program.
Cable download speeds are roughly on par with fiber, but uploading on a cable connection reaches only a fraction of those speeds. Fiber, on the other hand, has symmetrical upload and download speeds. This means that if you can download at 1 Gbps, you can upload at 1 Gbps as well.
Most internet activities, like watching video, reading the news, or just web surfing, require very little upload speed, so download speed is the important factor. However, as more people start using the internet for video conferencing and livestreaming, upload speed becomes more important. Nothing comes close to fiber in terms of upload speed.
Most casual users only have to worry about the downloading speed, but telecommuters, those dependent on telemedicine, and most businesses need higher uploading speeds as well. One of the many things that makes fiber optic Internet superior is that it provides symmetrical speeds, meaning its download and upload speeds match. DSL and other types of Internet, only offer asymmetrical speeds, where download speeds are faster than upload than upload speeds.
Sharing is Not Caring: Cable can reach download speeds of 100 Mbps (still only a tenth of fiber but more than DSL), but cable Internet is shared from a central node where the ISP meets the local coaxial network. This means anywhere between 100-2000 homes have to share a single node. Sharing like this often leads to low speeds during peak use hours. To manage this, companies have been throttling users Internet, meaning they slow down your bandwidth after you have used a certain amount. The idea behind this is to give everyone sharing the node an even amount of service, but can often be frustrating for consumers. Cable companies have also been known to put caps on how much data your household needs, and then charge you extra for additional data.
Entertainment and Connectivity: We have all become used to having the world at our fingertips. We may browse recipes, check the latest stock information, video chat, stream a movie, download music, or play interactive online games. With fiber optic Internet, ISPs are able to provide enough bandwidth to do all of those things at once, without having to sacrifice service quality.
LightWave's Plug In Assembly is an effective solution that can be flexibly accommodating for the changing data center environment. This innovative system is specially designed to reduce installation time and cost for an optical network infrastructure in the premises environment. The module is compact in size with simplex or duplex port adaptors at the front and MPO/MTP adaptor at the back and are designed to fit into RAC and WAC series fiber optic patch panels. This system enables a multifiber trunk cable connection break-out into simplex- or duplex-style up to 24 connections.
LightSpace EnclosuresSpecifically designed to meet the requirements of service providers large and small, LightSpace enclosures are ideal for central office, outside plant and fiber to the premises applications.
